Academic Support (6th/7th/8th)
Berkeley LEARNS provides after school homework centers for students daily. Each homework center is grade-specific so that assistance can be tailored to each group. Students can count on a studious environment free of distractions, so that they can focus on their academic success. CAL students volunteer as one-on-one tutors to assist students with their studies as well. Virtual grade level classrooms are provided for students Monday-Thursday to receive help with reading, work on homework, and school projects. Tutors and mentors are also available during academic hours.

We cater to the interests of students to teach CS concepts through short activities and longer-term projects like app-building, web design, or video game programming.
